Vision and agenda for the Young Members Committee:
1. I would like for the Young Members to be more active within SAME.
2. Continue to support Mentoring Programs within Universities.
3. Help to increase and maintain Membership for the NYC Post.
4. Develop SAME Student Chapters at Universities and Local Colleges.
5. See and Develop Mentoring Programs at Universities and Local Colleges and
get Young Members to serve as Mentors.
6. Have Young Members attend NYC Post regular evening meetings.
7. Help Young Members take on a leadership role within their Company.
8. Help take the NYC Post from “GOOD TO GREAT”.
My success is due solely to my mentors and the people who I have mentored. I believe that all of us could help the engineering community by serving as mentors to engineering students and future employees.
